Within the framework of the forum plan to achieve its objectives during 2010 which targets increasing the number of business start-ups and upgrading the existing ones by supporting entrepreneurs and spreading the culture of entrepreneurship in Egypt, the Members of the Board of Directors decided to set the committees, which supervise on the organization projects, as the following: |
First: Training and Education Committee
This committee aims to support young entrepreneurs, enhance their skills and help them to establish and develop their companies, in addition to working on developing the relationship between Entrepreneurs Business Forum and the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Higher Education by inviting them to insert entrepreneurship concept into Egyptian education curriculums.
The head of this committee is Mrs. Riham Adel, Member of the Board of Directors.
The suggested activities for execution are:
-Entrepreneurship Training Institute
-Entrepreneurship Center
-Start-ups Club
-Entrepreneurs Success Stories Project
Second: Finance and Investment Committee
This committee aims to provide the information about the economic opportunities in the field of entrepreneurship and facilitate the opportunities for the entrepreneurs, from the organization members, to get the required fund in its different forms to develop their companies beside their contribution in supporting promising sectors, and provide the strategy to get the required fund for their developments.
The head of this committee is Mr. Waleed Elsherbeny, EBF Member.
The suggested activities for execution are:
- Egyptian Business Angel Network (EBAN)
- Develop the business relationship with funders and involved ministries, banks, venture capital companies and Ministry of Investment.
Third: External Affairs Committee
This committee aims to create communication channels with external parties which have direct relations with the organization interests and members which achieve mutual benefits for both of them by activating the cooperation protocol between them, in addition to working on an effective presence in the Egyptian community and positive communication with targeted parties in different sectors.
The head of this committee is Mr. Amr El Abd, Member of the Board of Directors
The suggested activities for execution are:
- EBF Egypt entrepreneur of the year award.
- Establishing Entrepreneurship Strategy Board
- Upgrading the relationships with the involved economic ministries, embassies, Media, the Egyptian People's Assembly and Shura Council.
Fourth: Members Services and Organizational Development Committee
This committee aims to upgrade and increase new members and work on offering services to help them to develop and upgrade their companies and business relationships between them and create the opportunities of fruitful dealing, in addition to upgrading the internal institutional building of the forum.
The head of this committee is Mr. Mohamed Fathalla, Member of the Board of Directors.
The suggested activities for execution are:
- Entrepreneurs Business Forum Annual Conference
- EBF Website
- Monthly meetings
- Social meetings
- Building and Institutional Development Guide
- EBF Newsletter
Fifth: Research and Information Committee
This committee aims to provide the accurate information, statistics and economic studies which help entrepreneurs in decision making and work on supporting them in establishing and upgrading their companies.
The head of this committee is Mr.Tamer Badr Eldeen.
The suggested activities for execution are:
- Egyptian Business Barometer
- A study about Entrepreneurship in Egypt
- Establishing New Start-ups Guide
- Develop the business relations with Ministry of Administrative Development, Public Mobilization and Statistics Center, National Council of Competitiveness.
